PacPrint 09 goes live on the ‘Printernet’

The PacPrint 09 website has gone live and is now the best and most comprehensive resource for New Zealand’s graphic arts professionals planning their attendance at the show, say PacPrint 09 organisers.

The website, www.pacprint.com.au, hit the ‘Printernet’ on 1 October and has all the latest information on who’s involved, what will be on display and what’s happening in and around the exhibition, which runs from 26 – 30 May 2009, at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Alastair Hadley, Chairman of the PacPrint 09 Board, says the new website will prove a vital resource to New Zealand visitors, allowing them to access important information and plan their visit to the show with a greater degree of detail and precision than ever before.

“The website will carry the most up to date information on exhibitors, events and highlights of the upcoming exhibition, so visitors can decide exactly who, and what, they need to see, and plan their visit to maximise the opportunities provided at the show,” he says.

“You can not only register via our Online Visitor Registration, you can download information on things like travel and accommodation, have your key questions answered, and ensure you don’t miss any of the fantastic events that will dovetail with the show,” says Hadley.

As well as a complete list of current exhibitors with their stand details, the site will carry a floorplan clearly showing each exhibitor’s location, a full list of events for visitors to diarise, FAQs to assist both exhibitors and visitors, and all the latest media releases.

For visitors, a key feature will be the ability to access full details of each of the PacPrint 09 Forums, widely expected to be a highlight of the show.

While details were still to be finalised at the time of writing, the Forums – run for PacPrint 09 by the Printing Industries Association of Australia (the Australian counterpart to Print NZ) – will feature a range of industry experts and panelists drawn from a number of key disciplines, providing information and the opportunity for discussion on a number of topics of vital importance to the industry.

“Of course, as we get closer to May, we will get details of a wide range of other parallel events, including networking functions, demonstration timetables and special features, which will be posted to the site as soon as details are finalised so you can add them to your PacPrint 09 diary,” Hadley adds.

For exhibitors, there will be a ‘protected’ Exhibitor Zone where they will be able to access the Exhibitor Manual, download material such as logos and other marketing aids, and gather other key information needed to make their participation at PacPrint 09 a success.

From February, registered visitors will also be able to contact Exhibitors directly through the site’s online Exhibition Directory, to arrange visits, product demonstrations, or set up meetings.

“The website already carries a wealth of information, and will be updated and expanded regularly to ensure visitors and exhibitors have the information they need to derive maximum benefit from their attendance at PacPrint 09,” says Hadley.

“So if you’re planning to venture across the Tasman to attend PacPrint 09, or you want to know what’s in the show for you,
www.pacprint.com.au is the printelligent place to start.
